High-Speed Safety Assurance | APM32F091RCT6 LED Navigation Light Solution

September 13, 2021 Industrial

In foggy conditions, ensuring the safety of high-speed road traffic has been a challenge. Geehy addresses this by introducing a robust LED navigation light solution using the APM32F091RCT6 MCU. With the MCU's support for 8 serial ports, the solution ensures stability and reliability.

Tailored for foggy scenarios, the solution includes a collision prevention and warning function within the fog zone. It utilizes built-in detection and safety assurance technology to guarantee secure vehicle navigation in low visibility fog, preventing rear-end accidents.

Ample Memory, Stability, and Reliability

Boasting 256KB Flash and 32KB RAM storage, the APM32F091RCT6 MCU meets system algorithm needs for swift responses in diverse road conditions. Operating between -40°C to +105°C, it suits various highway environments. The MCU, with an ESD exceeding 6KV, enhances electrostatic protection, ensuring stable performance in different weather conditions.

Real-time and Accurate Monitoring

The APM32F091RCT6 MCU supports up to 8 USART interfaces for synchronous operation of multiple peripherals. In the LED navigation light system, visibility monitoring, ranging, and RTC modules are integrated for high-precision real-time road condition monitoring. For communication, the solution uses a 433MHz module for multi-light networking, a 4G module for remote parameter configuration, and an Ethernet module for local parameter configuration and gateway control in multi-light networking. The synchronized operation of these modules enables flexible control functions within the system.

Multi-Light Group Cooperative Navigation

The solution, equipped with up to 52 I/O ports and a USART interface for the speed limit screen module, can drive multiple LED warning lights. Combined with road condition monitoring and multi-light networking, it achieves diverse road navigation in low visibility. Coordinated control of multiple navigation light groups, each with different flashing frequencies and brightness levels, ensures drivers' safety in challenging visibility conditions.
